Leader in Me-Monthly Highlights Looking back on February… 2019…
Student & Teacher Leaders
-February included Respect for All week & many coinciding activities to
show 101’s commitment to the message. Ms. Nessas helped to kick it off by putting many events into place such as The Great Kindness Challenge, Respect & Kindness themed morning announcements, Messages of Kindness on the Kindness Tree, etc.
-This month’s annual door decorating contest, organized by our teacher Lighthouse Team, was incredible. Classrooms decorated their doors with a country of their choice and the results were nothing short of amazing!
-Our Caring Hearts Sweets and Bake Shop fundraiser, organized by Ms. Brocato, was a huge success! Craft bracelets and baked goods were sold and all proceeds went towards St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
-Our annual Talent Show, on 2/6, wowed all thanks to the hard work of Ms. Bova, Ms. Bove, Ms. P. DeMarco, and Ms. Martin! The theme was Lights, Camera, Action: Hollywood! Student and teacher performances both thrilled the crowd and brought
the theme to life!
