Fall Elementary School Admissions Events
This fall, the DOE is hosting elementary school admissions events across New York City. Please note the following information:
- Each admissions event will include two half-hour presentations and allotted time for families to ask questions about 3-K, pre-K, kindergarten, and the Gifted & Talented (G&T) admissions processes.
- In order to serve all families, interpreters will be available to address families’ questions, and materials will be provided in all ten DOE-supported languages.
- The admissions events will also include stations for families to search for their zoned and non-zoned school options, request to take the G&T exam, and subscribe to an email service that includes reminders about the elementary school admissions process and important deadlines.
