Greetings Parents and Guardians-
Thank you so much for all you are doing to support your child’s education. I know it can be frustrating at times, but please ensure to allow your child to do their own work. You can definitely sit with them, help them and teach them, but don’t do work for them as it will create an unrealistic expectation of what they are capable of.
Also, please remind your children that everything they do on Google Classroom is tracked– meaning if they write something inappropriate or not nice, your child’s teacher can see it even if a child tries to delete it. It’s a great lesson to teach your children about being responsible on the internet.
In regards to cluster teachers (art, music, drama, etc), clusters post work at the beginning of the week for all classes, but we suggest your child does the work on the day they normally have that class. For example, if they don’t have Art until Thursday, have them do their art project starting Thursday. They will have one week to submit it (from the day their class is scheduled). Also, clusters will respond to parent messages only on the day your child is scheduled for the class.
Again, thank you for all you are doing as parent, teacher, caregiver and more!
