Report Cards and Next Steps

Dear PS 101 Families:

First and foremost, I want to congratulate you on accomplishing another year of school. While it was a very different school year for all of us, I am happy to say that overall we still had a wonderful school year filled with many great memories including dances, class performances, and many amazing fun learning opportunities.

Please be advised that Report Cards will be available in your MySchools account on Monday June 29, 2020. As a reminder, there is a different grading system for the end of this school year as per the NYCDOE’s directive. Core subject overall grades have been entered, while sub-area/categories are not applicable (blank).

As per the Chancellor, final grades are:

  • Meeting Standards- MT
“MT” represents students who are on Grade level
    , meaning a ME, MA or MT (city-wide 3 or 4)
    • OR
  • Needs Improvement – N
N” represents students who are below Grade level, meaning a MP or MB (city-wide 1 or 2)

On Monday, June 29th, you may sign into your child’s NYC Schools Account for student grades, and other information, including attendance, etc.:

Families in need of assistance with requests for translating report card grades, may refer to the NYCDOE site:

  • Go to:
  • Scroll to My Student and Click on the blue icon/box
  • Select: Student Records and Transcripts (right side) and Click
  • Select: Report Cards on the right side and Click
  • Scroll to Sample of Standard Report Cards for language choice to Click.

Please be advised that your child’s class for September will not be determined until the end of August when we receive more information about school opening. Classes will be shared upon school re-opening in September.

Please take care of one another and continue the learning process with summer work our instructional staff has prepared in advance with scheduled assignments (Links will be posted next week).

It’s very important that you visit our school website regularly throughout the summer for updates and first day of school information at:

I thank you for your patience, understanding and resilience. We appreciate your partnership and for entrusting us throughout this learning journey.

Have a safe and enjoyable summer vacation!

Gregg Korrol
