Tuesday Time with Drawing

Dear PS 101 Families:

Are you ready for a new Art Drawing activity? Get your pencils ready to sketch, crayons ready to draw and markers ready to color! We want to ensure our students are exposed to VISUAL ARTs to design and create. Drawing is known to be one of the oldest forms of human expression within the visual arts. Monochrome or with color, drawing generally includes marking lines and design with dry media, such as pencil, crayon, marker, colored pencil, chalk or pastel, etc. Encourage your child to explore these drawing opportunities with our very own artist, Chiara. Marquis Studios Teaching Artist, Chiara’s style includes a considerable emphasis on observation, problem-solving and composition. Have fun together and DRAW with this week’s age/level/grade appropriate video lesson!
