Dance Festival – May 25, 2022

Dear Early Childhood Parents/Guardians:

On Wednesday, May 25th, we will host our first PS 101 Dance Festival for the first time in nearly seven years!

Are you read for some fun? Are you ready to dance? Our early childhood students are ready to perform for all of you. Please join our early childhood classes for a spectacular event to celebrate music and dance through the years.

Do you recall some of your favorite songs the year your child was born? Song selections include some fan favorites from the year your child was born from 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014, so come and join the fun!

May 25th – SAVE THE DATE as students in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, first and second grade will perform their dances and share in the festivities:

Prekindergarten Grade/Pre-k Families only: 9:00 am start time

Kindergarten Grade/Kindergarten Families only: 9:30 am start time

First Grade/First Grade Families only: 10:00 am start time

Second Grade/Second Grade Families only: 10:30 am start time

For organizational purposes, parents will assemble on Bay 35th Street and may only enter and exit from the Bay 35th gate. Only parents with children in the performing grade will be allowed in the schoolyard. The 24th Avenue gate will not be used and the entering and exiting the schoolyard will only be from the Bay 35th Street gate.

Students are to come to school as regularly schedule for 8:30 am start time.

At the conclusion of the showcase, students will immediately return to their classroom to resume instructional lessons. Students cannot be signed out after the dance festival, as it is a regular school day of instruction.

We hope you can save the date and join in the fun!

Very Truly Yours,

Gregg Korrol
