Dear PS 101 Families,

As you know, our cell phone policy allows for students to have cell phones in school AND they must be turned off and in the students bookbag which is hung in the classroom closet.

The same policy applies to Smartwatches, many of which have texting or call features. Student must leave smartwatches in their school bags during the day.

If a staff member sees a student with a cell phone or Smartwatch, they will remind them to place it in their bookbag. When we have repeat occurrences where a child does not follow this directive, the phone or watch will be held in the office for the parent to pick up.
