We always want to strive to demonstrate a sense of community and family that unite together to celebrate. Our united school spirit will show support as a form of expression. Here are some upcoming School Spirit Events for the month of MAY. We need your support and full participation with each special day, so please make every effort to adhere to the color/theme and share in the fun!

Monday, May 1st	National Principal’s Day Let’s celebrate Principal Korrol and all of the important work he does for the betterment of PS 101. SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY! SHOW YOUR PS 101 VIKING PRIDE! You may also wear our school color: BLUE WEAR PS101 school spirit apparel.
Tuesday, May 2nd	DAY ONE of Grades 3-4-5 NYS MATH State Exam School Spirit Day -COMFY/COZY DAY > Don’t Sweat The Test!  WEAR sweat-shorts or sweatpants/t-shirt or sweatshirt!
Wednesday, May 3rd	DAY TWO of Grades 3-4-5 NYS MATH State Exam School Spirit Day -COMFY/COZY DAY > Don’t Sweat The Test! WEAR sweat-shorts or sweatpants/t-shirt or sweatshirt!
Thursday, May 4th	SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY! WEAR your favorite STAR WARS shirt/character/movie design/apparel. MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU!
Friday, May 5th	SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY! SHOW YOUR PS 101 VIKING PRIDE! WEAR PS 101 SCHOOL APPAREL. You may also wear our school color: BLUE
Friday, May 12th	SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY! Harry Potter Day! WEAR your favorite Harry Potter shirt/character or movie design/apparel.
Friday, May 19th	SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY! SPRING IS IN THE AIR DAY! WEAR your favorite spring color – blue, pink, yellow, peach, lavender!
Friday, May 26th	SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY! WEAR Red, white or blue for patriotism.
