What is the first day of school?

*Kindergarten and Pre-K have different schedules on the first day- please check the email you received
What are the school hours?
Breakfast Hours: 7:40am- 8:00am (Breakfast Menu)
Daily School Hours: 8:00am- 2:05pm-2:15pm (depending on the grade)
Where do I drop off my child for school and where do I pick them up?
All children enter the school through the main entrance on 24th Avenue.

Can I meet the Principal?
Yes, Principal Korrol holds weekly meetings with parents called Coffee with Korrol.

What supplies do I need for the start of school?

When can I drop off my child’s school supplies?
Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade and 2nd Grade: August 28th (Thursday)
Grade 3, Grade 4 and Grade 5: August 29th (Friday)
Last Call- All Grades: September 2nd (Tuesday)
**Drop off time for all 3 days: 8:30 AM – 10AM

Your child can bring their supplies with them to school.

What does my child eat for lunch?

What is the student lunch schedule:
Kindergarten and Grade 3: 11:00am
Grade 1 and 4: 11:50am
Grade 2 and 5: 12:40pm
*Please send your child to school with a healthy snack and water for snack time
Does my child need certain immunizations/vaccines to attend school?
Yes! There are specific immunizations your child must have or they will not be allowed to attend school.

What if my child gets sick or has medical needs?
PS101 has a nurse on site to assist your child if needed. If your child has a specific health issue such as asthma and uses an inhaler, or other medical conditions, please speak to the nurse so she can guide you on next steps.
If your child has a fever they are not permitted in school.
Your child must be 24 hours fever free without medication to return and should have a doctor’s note.
