Early Childhood Carnival (UPDATE)

Dear Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grade One Families:

With the weather forecast indicating rain for May 21st, we will pivot to the gymnasium with a modified carnival event.

We are excited to announce that our Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and Grade One classes will celebrate the end of a successful school year with a fun-filled carnival on Thursday, May 21st in our gymnasium.

**Parents are not included in this event, as this will be an in-school fun-filled experience for students only.

This special event will include a variety of age-appropriate activities designed to promote joy, teamwork, and of course kindness! Some of the carnival events include:

  • Bounce houses and inflatable obstacle courses
  • Sports games tailored to early childhood students
  • Interactive physical activities

Important: Please ensure your child wears sneakers — NO SANDALS OR FLIP-FLOPS!

We are looking forward to a joyful and safe celebration on Thursday, May 21st for all our early childhood learners. Thank you for your continued support.

Early Childhood Dance Festival RESCHEDULED

Dear Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Grade One and Grade Two Parents/Guardians:

Please note that the Early Childhood Dance Festival has been rescheduled due to scheduling conflicts.

New Date:Tuesday, June 9th
Rain Date: Wednesday, June 10th

Kind Minds Student Assembly

Dear PS 101 Families of Grades 1 – 5:

On Monday, March 23, students in Grades 1–5 will participate in our Kind Minds Student Assembly. This program focuses on promoting kindness, empathy, and positive peer interactions among students.

Through engaging activities and discussions, the assembly encourages students to think about the impact of their words and actions, practice respect, and help build a caring and supportive school community.

We look forward to this meaningful opportunity for students to reflect on the importance of kindness and working together to ensure a positive environment for all.

Please join us on January 28 at 9am (NEW DATE) to meet AP Damiano and learn the essentials of your child’s IEP. We have also opened the event to parents of students with IEPs in ALL grades (K – 5th Grades).
