PTA Pumpkin Patch Day

Dear PS 101 Families:

Fall is in the air, and we are excited to welcome back one of our favorite PS 101 traditions! On Friday, October 30th, our annual PTA Pumpkin Patch Day will provide every student with the opportunity to choose and decorate their own pumpkin during the school day. We are grateful to our PTA for making this special event possible once again!

To prepare for this special event, 1,200 pumpkins will be delivered to our schoolyard after dismissal on Thursday, October 29th. For the safety of our students, families, volunteers, and delivery personnel, the schoolyard will be closed immediately following dismissal on October 29th while the pumpkins are unloaded and the pumpkin patch is set up.

We kindly ask all families to exit the schoolyard promptly after dismissal to allow for a safe and efficient setup process. Your cooperation helps make this wonderful experience possible for our students.

Celebrate Our PS 101 PTA on Friday, September 25th: National PTA Appreciation Day

Dear PS 101 Families:

In recognition of National PTA Day on September 26th, we are excited to celebrate the incredible partnership of our PS 101 families and the many ways our parent community contributes to the heart of our school. On Friday, September 25th, we will recognize and celebrate our very own PS 101 Parent Teacher Association and parent community!

Our sincere appreciation goes to our PS 101 PTA Executive Board, parent volunteers, and all of our families who support our school throughout the year. Whether organizing and volunteering at special events, supporting fundraising efforts, lending a helping hand, participating in school activities, or simply being an active partner in your child’s education, your involvement makes a meaningful difference. There are never enough thanks to our executive board team for their continued partnership, support, and PS 101 school spirit.

A strong school community is built through partnership, and we are fortunate to have families who continually support our students, staff, and one another. A special thanks to the parents and guardians who generously give their time to volunteer and help bring so many wonderful experiences to life for our students.

On National PTA Day, we celebrate all of our PS 101 families and the important role you play in making our school community so special. Together, we help Bridge Education + the World!
