We have an upcoming Creative, Eco-Minded Adventure for PS 101 Families!

Hosted in partnership with the Brooklyn Arts Council:

📅 Date: Friday, April 17, 2026

⏰ Time: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM (Doors open at 3:15 PM)

📍 Location: PS 101 School Building

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Who Can Join?

Current PS 101 students, parents, and caregivers — all ages welcome!

• Participants will be selected at random due to limited seating

• 90-minute afterschool mixed-media art experience

• Hands-on weaving with recycled materials

• Create collaborative artwork using sustainable & repurposed materials

• Explore paint, collage, sculpture & tactile media

• Spark imagination and meaningful conversations

• Strengthen family connections through creativity

Puppetry For All! Family Puppet Making Workshop (In Partnership with Puppetry In Practice, Inc.)

Dear PS 101 Families,

PS 101 is excited to partner with Puppetry in Practice, Inc. to present Puppetry for All! — a joyful, hands-on puppet making workshop designed for participants of all ages. Families will explore creativity together while learning the art of puppetry and bringing their own unique characters to life!

Bullying Awareness Parent Workshop on February 10th

Dear PS 101 Parent/Guardians,

We warmly invite PS 101 parents and guardians to join us in celebrating Respect for All Week by attending a Bullying Awareness Parent Workshop.

Workshop Topics:

  • What is bullying and signs of bullying.
  • How to address bullying and ways to report it for assistance.
  • Cyberbullying and the shared responsibilities we have to address it and ways to seek help to remove offensive posts.
