Dear future PS 101 students (and our current Pre-K),
Beginning TODAY, December 9, families with children born in 2021 can apply to attend kindergarten for the 2026–27 school year; the application deadline is January 23.
Please note that all families who apply by the deadline will receive a kindergarten offer by March 31. Families can apply to kindergarten in two ways:
- Online at MySchools.nyc;
- Note that Myschools.nyc features an online directory tool that enables families to explore program options, save programs of interest, and submit their applications, all on the same site.

Good day- we don’t do open house tours. After students are accepted, in approximately May/June, we have an orientation where parents meet some of the Kindergarten teachers and learn about the school. You can see our daily happenings on Instagram @ps101k
