As we welcome the month of May, our school is buzzing with energy and excitement! With spring in full bloom, we’re looking forward to a month filled with special celebrations, meaningful learning, and joyful moments.

Monday, May 4th	SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY- STAR WARS! WEAR your favorite STAR WARS shirt/character/movie design/apparel. MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU!
Monday, May 4th through Friday, May 8th	Teacher Appreciation Week during May 4th – May 8th Help us to recognize and thank our incredible PS 101 teaching staff as they are truly the best of the best! Their dedication, care, and passion make a lasting difference every day, and they deserve to be celebrated.
Tuesday, May 5th	PTA General Membership Meeting via ZOOM at 10AM. Link to follow, closer to the meeting date.
Wednesday, May 6th	Last Day for Morning Test Prep Program and Afterschool Test Prep/Homework Help/ENL/Mandarin Programs
Thursday, May 7th	Final Parent Teacher Conferences for 2025-26 School Year: 4:30 – 7:30pm session only and Virtual Conferences only
Friday, May 15th	SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY – DISNEY MAGIC! Do you have a favorite Disney character or place?  Disney Day > WEAR Disney apparel
Thursday, May 21st	DRAMA SHOW: Heroes Academy Doors open at 6:00pm Show starts promptly at 6:30pm
Monday, May 25th	Memorial Day- NYC Schools Closed in Observance of Memorial Day where we honor the brave men and women who have served our country in the military and who continue to do so.
Wednesday, May 27th	Eid al-Adha- NYC Schools Closed in Observance of Eid al-Adha
Friday, May 29th	SCHOOL SPIRIT DAY – BLAST FROM THE PAST! History is part of our story. DRESS like someone from history. Think of someone who has made a difference in our world.
