Reminder: First Marking Period Report Cards Are Available Today

Greetings PS 101 Families:

Please be advised the first marking period for the school term has come to an end and you will have access to your child’s report card today, Monday, December 1st. If you should have questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher.

PS 101 Academic Policy:

  • ME: “Mastery-Exceeds” Standards (95-100) = 4 by NYS Standards
  • MA: “Mastery-Above” Standards (85-94) = a mid-high 3 by NYS Standards
  • MT: “Mastery-Meets” Standards (75-84) = a low-mid 3 by NYS Standards
  • MP: “Mastery-Approaching” Standards (65-74) = 2 by NYS Standards
  • MB: “Mastery-Below Standards (64 or less) = 1 by NYS Standards

You may retrieve your child’s Report Card online (we do not give out paper report cards until the last day of school in June): Report Card grades will be posted on this NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) for student grades, school forms, IEPs, tests scores, reading level, enrollment history, transportation, health, attendance, fitness data, scheduling and more at NYC Schools Account NYSCA.

To Access Your Child’s Report Card on NYC Schools Account:

  1. Go to: www.schoolsaccount.nyc
  2. Click on the blue icon/box “Sign In”.
  3. ENTER your username and password credentials that you signed up with for NYCSA access.
  4. CLICK on MyStudent – GREEN BOX.
  5. Select your student/child.
  6. Select: GRADES
  7. Current Report Card will be visible for you to click and access. Past Report Cards are also available for you to access.
  8. You can also access a translated version of your child’s report card by clicking SETTINGS (top right corner gear icon) > Click Language Preference from the left side list > Select your language and click SAVE.

Final Marking Period Report Cards and Summer Updates

Greetings PS 101 Families:

As we reach the final day of the school year on Thursday, June 26th, we take a moment to reflect on all that we have experienced and accomplished together. This year has been filled with meaningful growth, and our shared commitment to our students has continued to shine through in every way. Looking ahead, we remain focused on welcoming our students back in September with open arms and renewed energy, ready to continue delivering high-quality, rigorous instruction.

Summer Google Classrooms

We have created dedicated Summer Google Classrooms to give students access to their Summer Work Packets:

  • Access codes have been posted by your child’s current teacher in their existing Google Classroom stream, and you will also find the code included in the ELA comment section of your child’s report card. Please note that the Summer Google Classrooms are view-only.
  • The sole purpose is to provide easy access to student summer assignments and materials.

To join your child’s Summer Google Classroom, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Google Classroom
  2. Go to the top right corner and find the (+) sign.
  3. Click the (+) sign and enter the Google Classroom Code found on your child’s report card.
  4. Join the Summer Google Classroom and follow the instructions for Summer Work.

2025-2026 Class Code Assignment

  • Please find your child’s 2025-2026 class assignment code in the ELA comment section of the report card.

REPORT CARDS

  • Report Cards will be accessible on NYC School Accounts (NYCSA) for families via: www.schoolsaccount.nyc.
  • Report cards will be available on student accounts on Friday, June 27th. (Please note, the DOE portal may post grades later than anticipated due to high online traffic.)
  • All students present will be receiving a hard copy of their report card on Thursday, June 26th.

Last Day of School: Summer Google Classroom and Report Cards

Dear PS 101 Families:

On our last day of school, we are reflective of the past year and all we have endured. Together, we remain dedicated to ensuring the very best in the new school year and look forward to welcoming our youngsters back in September with open arms to resume rigorous instruction. Have a restful, enjoyable and safe summer vacation. Thank you for everything you do every day to ensure the 101 Experience! Here are some report card/summer information:

Summer Google Classroom:

We have created Summer Google Classrooms to allow your students to access their Summer Work Packets. Your child’s teacher has posted the access codes on his/her current Google Classroom stream, and it will be provided on your child’s report card in the ELA comment section. Please remember, the Summer Google Classroom is “view” only. It will not be monitored or interactive in any way. The purpose of the Summer Google Classroom is to post student work only.

To join your child’s Summer Google Classroom, please follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Teach Hub: TeachHub (nyc.gov)
  2. Go to the top right corner and find the (+) sign.
  3. Click the (+) sign and enter the Google Classroom Code found on your child’s report card.
  4. Join the Summer Google Classroom and follow the instructions for Summer Work.

2024-2025 Class Assignment:

Please find your child’s 2024-2025 class assignment code in the ELA comment section of the report card.
