  1. The class-size idea is excellent, and I completely agree that having fewer students in each class allows for more individual attention from the teacher. However, I would like to understand how you plan to select which children will be reassigned, and how they will adapt to a new teacher and new classmates—especially if this change occurs in the middle of the school year.

    How are you anticipating the children’s reactions to this transition, and what measures will be taken to ensure that it does not affect them academically?

    • Thank you for your inquiry- anytime we change a child’s class we consider everything you mentioned. With a mid-year change, it involves looking at academic levels, friendships with classmates, and what will be most supportive for a transition, and in this case, will even involve splitting some time with the current class and new class to maintain friendships. Academically, all teachers follow the same curriculum and pacing, so the bigger focus is the child’s emotional well-being to ensure a smooth change for all involved.
