NYC Reads Ambassador Program

Dear PS 101 Families:

The NYC Reads Ambassador Program is a way for families to support their children as they learn to read. This program will instruct families on how to build literacy skills with their children and will give families the opportunity to prepare for and practice these skill-building activities together with their children. The science-based modules encompass all facets of brain-based reading, the science of reading, and science of reading frameworks.

Become a NYC Reads Family Ambassador to become a literacy leader in your community, connect with families city-wide, and host fun reading events. This is a 10-session voluntary commitment hosted online and featuring a different topic at each meeting. Families of students in 3K-5th grade are eligible. If interested, please register for the sessions using this link: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJYkcOmuqj8vH9MkSNgwyGy6vcRiDP_Sw4lr#/registration
