Dear PS 101 Families,
You are warmly invited to attend a parent workshop focused on supporting children’s emotional and mental well-being.
During this workshop, parents will learn how encouraging children to express their feelings in healthy ways can positively impact their mental health. We will discuss how to recognize the difference between typical childhood behaviors and possible mental health concerns, as well as the importance of fostering empathy—especially in environments where it may not always be emphasized. Participants will also gain practical strategies to help children navigate everyday challenges at home and in school.
