PS 101 & Marquis Studios pARTnership

Dear PS 101 Families,

PS 101 is proud to continue our long-standing pARTnership with Marquis Studios, bringing over 20 years of inspiring arts education to our school community!

As a pARTnership school, we are deeply committed to nurturing students’ creativity and expanding their artistic interests through engaging, culturally rich instruction across a variety of disciplines, visual arts, media, performing arts, theater, dance, and more. Dear PS 101 Families,

To support this effort, a practical guide was created that provides tips and resources specifically designed to help parents safeguard their children on social media platforms and during online gaming. Please note that the guide is available in all NYCPS languages and is available on the Cybersecurity Awareness Month page (under A Quick Guide for Parents in the Digital Age).

PS 101 Grade Tags

Dear PS 101 Families,

To support a smooth and safe arrival each morning, we will be implementing a colored tag system for all students. Each grade will be assigned a specific color tag that will be attached to your child’s bookbag. The tag will make things easier for our staff to help guide students to their designated grade-level line-up areas and to watch for students in the incorrect arrival location.

Important Reminders for Families:

  • Please ensure your child’s tag remains on their bookbag at all times.
  • Do not remove, replace, or decorate the tag, as it is an important safety and organizational tool.
  • If a tag becomes damaged or lost, please notify your child’s teacher so we can provide a replacement.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a safe, efficient, and positive start to each school day.

Sincerely,

Gregg Korrol
