Dear PS 101 Families,
Juneteenth is a time for reflection, education, and honoring the enduring strength and resilience of Black Americans. Observed annually on June 19th, this important holiday marks the end of slavery in the United States and serves as a reminder of both the struggles and the contributions of Black individuals throughout our nation’s history.
As noted in the NYC public schools’ calendar, all schools will be closed on Friday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth. School will resume on Monday, June 22nd, following our regular schedule.
