Reminder: PS 101 Afterschool Programs (Academic Support/Test Prep, ELL Support, Mandarin, Drama, and Music) Start This Week

Dear PS 101 After-School Families:

Please be advised that the Academic Support/Test Prep/Drama, ELL Support, Mandarin, and Music Afterschool programs will be starting on Tuesday, September 29th. If your child received a permission form to attend these after-school programs and you have signed and returned the form, then your child will start attending these programs.

As a reminder, please note the following start days and dismissal times for each program:

Academic Support/Test Prep/Drama Tuesday – Thursday:

  • Starts Tuesday, September 29th and takes place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 2:20pm – 4:20pm.
  • Dismissal starts promptly at 4:15pm in the schoolyard. You must ensure your child is picked up on time.

ELL Support Tuesday – Thursday:

  • Starts Tuesday, September 29th and takes place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 2:20pm – 4:20pm.
  • Dismissal starts promptly at 4:15pm in the schoolyard. You must ensure your child is picked up on time.

Mandarin Tuesday – Thursday:

  • Starts Tuesday, September 29th and takes place every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays from 2:20pm – 4:20pm.
  • Dismissal starts promptly at 4:15pm in the schoolyard. You must ensure your child is picked up on time.

Music Club:

  • Brass Club starts Tuesday, September 29th and takes place every Tuesday and Thursdays from 2:20pm – 4:20pm.
  • Strings/Violin Club starts Friday, October 2nd and takes place every Wednesday and Fridays from 2:20pm – 4:20pm.
  • Dismissal starts promptly at 4:15pm in the schoolyard. You must ensure your child is picked up on time.

SATURDAY TEST PREP/ACADEMIC SUPPORT AFTERSCHOOL:

  • Starts Saturday, October 3rd and takes place every Saturday from 8:00am – 11:00am.
  • Dismissal starts promptly at 10:50am in the main entrance of the school. You must ensure your child is picked up on time.

Kindly note, all afterschool programs housed at PS 101 (including BCA and Angel Center) will be cancelled on Wednesday, September 30th for our teaching staff to welcome parents for Back to School Night.
