Dear PS 101 Families,

I am sure by now you have heard of Artificial Intelligence (AI). At PS101, we are always ahead of the technology curve and that is one of the many reasons our school was successful during the COVID shutdown. We think ahead and plan for success.

Now, in 2024, we are tackling AI and exploring different ways we can use it to support your child’s learning. At this point, our teachers are at the beginning stages of exploring AI and various AI programs (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc) to see how we can bring AI into our classrooms, as well as to plan ahead for the educational shift that is bound to happen.

As part of this work and to support our families, we are doing a 2 part AI workshop with PS101 parents on Friday March 15 and Friday March 22. This workshop will introduce you to AI and how you can use it to support your child in school, as well as how you can use it to make your life easier at home.
